Jule-Sophie Hermann

Hi there!

I'm a cinematographer, director, editor and photographer who tremendously enjoys creative collaboration and

contributing visual elements to projects that have a great impact. My skills with the camera and in the edit room are self-taught and enhanced through my formal education. I like to jump into cold water and try new things. In my career and in life, I'm a responsible, passionate and hard-working person who approaches people, issues and cultures with kindness and a curious, open mind.

To round it all up, here are three fun facts about me: 1) I used to be a professional and collegiate athlete, 2) although I cannot read sheet music, I'm quite proficient on the piano, and 3)  even though they teach British English in Germany, I got my American accent due to an obsession with U.S. crime shows in my early teens.
